With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agile methodology operating model has gained significant traction in helping organizations accelerate their adoption of processes, practices, and tech in order to respond to increasingly complex requirements. According to a recent survey on the growth of Agile methodology adoption within software development teams, it increased from 37 percent in 2020 to 86 percent in 2021. While organizations in the current scenario are under increasing pressure to deliver features that provide greater value, and improve efficiency and reliability, beyond software development, Agile methodology is a mindset. It can be applied in other business areas to help streamline the company’s core priorities and be advantageous in the short and long run. This form of enterprise-wide agility reimagines an organization as a collection of high-performing teams, each with a clear purpose and the skills it needs.
