Digital transformation has made the release of fast and efficient software a must. In this situation, several enterprises today are shedding off their legacy frameworks and resorting to DevOps to create software that amalgamates both speed and quality. And to make this innovation happen, enterprises worldwide are either re-platforming or re-architecting their business workflows in tandem to drive a change in functioning along the lines of DevOps.

Set against this backdrop is the firm Plutora that offers a suite of tools to accelerate the software delivery process effectively and bolster the cultural interaction and tooling side of DevOps. The company brings to the table a complete software delivery management solution engineered to improve time-to-value. It offers a platform targeted toward large companies with customers that need to provide high-quality software and are equipped with complex sets of technologies. Plutora gives clients a control tower overseeing the entirety of their software delivery people, processes, and tools independent of methodology, automation, or tool vendor.

Recently, Plutora was recognized as a Representative Vendor in the Gartner Market Guide for DevOps Value Stream Management Platforms. “To us, being recognized as a Representative Vendor by Gartner in the 2020 Market Guide for DevOps Value Stream Management Platforms is a testament to what we are building here at Plutora and validation of the work we are doing to provide the utmost value to our customers,” said Dalibor Siroky, Co-Founder and CEO at Plutora. “To be competitive in today’s constantly changing landscape, it’s essential for organizations to concentrate on driving successful outcomes and increasing business value. We look forward to continuing to help organizations with their digital transformation journey of becoming a software driven business.”

To be competitive in today’s constantly changing landscape, it’s essential for organizations to concentrate on driving successful outcomes and increasing business value

The company’s latest tool, named Release helps such organizations attain desired level of speed and regularity while also upholding the quality of their product. Release provides end-to-end visibility into the release process for the entire range of applications and also monitors the interaction and dependability quotient between various product release pipelines. This ensures continuous collaboration across all streams of work and enables clients to streamline the entire pipeline management right from idea to operation, encompassing all the intermediate touchpoints. To that end, Plutora’s Value Stream Management Platform bridges the gap between business goals and software development by significantly reducing time-to-value. The platform monitors customers’ remote software factory and helps them proceed through the change seamlessly by imparting complete work visibility, smart dashboards, and governance to improve organizational performance in this new remote-first world.

To elaborate, Environments, Test, and Deploy are the other three essential components of Plutora’s platform. In order to ensure a successful release, the company’s robust platform tests it through a series of environments. Plutora Environments covers a vast array of environments and manages lifecycles of pipelines meant to be delivered. By binding pipelines and environments, it helps organizations make optimum utilization of their expenditure. The testing part is governed by the Test tool, which integrates seamlessly with various test automation tools. In essence, Plutora unifies toolchains in real time and integrates the data of clients’ current software delivery toolset into its own platform. Without the need for big changes, developers and testers can now focus solely on doing great work.

Plutora thereby works towards enabling smart digital business for its clients. The company provides them with advanced KPIs, metrics and predictive analytics of the complete software delivery process to empower their digital business. To that end, the company uses Deploy—a subsidiary of Release—to facilitate business continuity planning and subsequently manage the implementation of transitions in the release process and ensures disaster recovery.

Besides, Plutora’s top-down approach enables it to get a holistic view of the entire delivery spectrum, right from the requirements phase to the operational level and thereby steers it ahead of the competition curve. It will be interesting to witness how, at the behest of its never-seen-before ideas, the firm adds dimensions to the DevOps side of the business while keeping both speed and quality intact.
